市立幼稚園の再編計画の見直しを求める署名
～子どもたちの未来と地域のつながりのために～
Petition to Reconsider the Municipal Kindergarten Restructuring Plan
— For the Future of Our Children and Our Community —

現在、つくば市では市立幼稚園の再編・集約化が検討されており、令和9年度からの段階的な実施を経て、令和10年度には大規模な集約案が示されています。

市は9月上旬に各幼稚園の保護者説明会、中旬に住民説明会、10月上旬には計画策定、下旬に園児募集を予定しており、保護者や地域住民の現状や意見を十分に検証するスケジュールになっていません。

今回の計画は、子ども達の教育環境や地域のつながりに大きな影響を与える重要な判断です。

私たちは、拙速に確定することなく十分検証した計画策定及び園児募集の日程の見直しを求めます。

【重要事項／私たちが求めること】

①幼稚園のあり方について、拙速に確定することなく十分検証した計画策定をしてください。

②子供たちの教育環境、地域の実情、外国籍家庭を含む多様な家庭の通園実態を十分に踏まえ、地域住民の意見を丁寧に反映した上で、改めて議論してください。

【English】

Tsukuba City is considering reorganizing and consolidating its municipal kindergartens. Phased implementation is scheduled to begin in FY2027, followed by large-scale consolidation in FY2028.

The City plans to hold parent briefings in early September and community briefings in mid-September, finalize the plan in early October, and begin accepting enrollment applications in late October.

This schedule does not allow sufficient time to consider the circumstances and views of parents and local residents.

The proposal would significantly affect children’s educational environment and community connections.

We strongly request that the City postpone finalizing the plan and revise the schedule to allow sufficient time for careful review and consideration.

【Our Requests】

1. Please develop a plan for the future of municipal kindergartens based on careful and thorough review, rather than rushing to finalize the current proposal.

2. Please reconsider the proposal after giving full consideration to children’s educational environment, local circumstances, and the accessibility needs of diverse families, including international families, while carefully reflecting the views of local residents.
