市立吾妻幼稚園の存続を求める署名

Petition to Save Azuma Kindergarten
— For the Future of Our Children and Our Community —

現在、つくば市では市立幼稚園の再編・集約化が検討されており、令和10年度から吾妻幼稚園を休園し、竹園西幼稚園へ集約する案が示されています。

吾妻幼稚園は、地域の子どもたちにとって大切な学びと成長の場であるとともに、長年にわたり地域とともに歩んできた幼稚園です。

また、吾妻地区には外国籍の家庭も多く暮らしており、近隣の吾妻小学校には日本語教室が設置されるなど、多様な文化的背景を持つ子どもたちを支える環境があります。

さらに、吾妻幼稚園では、発達面・医療面などで特別な配慮を必要とする子どもたちも受け入れ、保護者と連携しながら、一人ひとりに寄り添った教育を行ってきました。

このような環境は、子どもたちにとってかけがえのないものであり、地域にとっても大切な財産です。

私たちは、子どもたちの教育環境と地域のつながりを守るため、市立吾妻幼稚園の存続を求めます。

①市立吾妻幼稚園を存続してください。

②子どもたちの教育環境、地域の実情、外国籍家庭を含む多様な家庭の通園実態を十分に踏まえ、地域住民の意見を丁寧に反映した上で、改めて議論してください。

Tsukuba City is currently considering a plan to reorganize and consolidate its municipal kindergartens. Under the proposed plan, Azuma Kindergarten would be suspended from FY2028 and consolidated into Takezono Nishi Kindergarten.

Azuma Kindergarten is an important place for local children to learn and grow, and it has been an integral part of the community for many years.

The Azuma area is also home to many international families. Nearby Azuma Elementary School provides Japanese-language support, helping create an educational environment that supports children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Azuma Kindergarten has also welcomed children who require additional developmental or medical support, working closely with families to provide education tailored to each child’s needs.

This environment is invaluable to our children and an important asset to the entire community.

To protect our children’s educational environment and preserve the connections within our community, we respectfully request that Azuma Kindergarten remain open.

1. Please keep Azuma Kindergarten open.

2. Please reconsider the proposal after giving full consideration to children’s educational environment, local circumstances, and the accessibility needs of diverse families, including international families, while carefully reflecting the views of local residents.
